Reimagine Your Bathroom – From Outdated to Outstanding

From luxurious master bathroom makeovers to efficient hallway bath updates, we handle it all. Our team will manage every detail – plumbing, electrical, tiling, and more – to create a space that meets your needs and reflects your style.

Custom Showers & Bathtubs

One of the best ways to upgrade a bathroom is by improving the bathing area. We build custom showers with features like tiled walls, mosaic accents, built-in niches for storage, bench seating, and frameless glass enclosures.

Vanities & Countertops

Upgrade your storage and style with a new vanity and countertop. We install custom or pre-manufactured vanity cabinets in a variety of styles (from sleek modern floating vanities to double-sink vanity cabinets with plenty of drawer space).

Flooring & Tiling

Tile work is at the core of many bathroom remodels. We can replace outdated flooring with new tile that is water-resistant and stylish – options include ceramic or porcelain tile in virtually any color or pattern, natural stone tiles for a high-end look, or even luxury vinyl plank.

Fixtures, Lighting & Ventilation

We handle the selection and installation of new toilets, sinks, and faucets, as well as towel bars, grab bars, and more. We also update the lighting scheme to brighten up your bathroom. Lastly, we install quality exhaust fans.

Our Process

Bathroom Remodeling Process

01. Consultation & Vision Planning

We begin by meeting with you to discuss your bathroom remodel goals. During this free consultation, we’ll talk about what’s not working in your current bathroom and what you envision for the new space. Do you want a bigger shower? More storage? A different layout? We also discuss your style preferences (modern, traditional, spa-inspired, etc.) and budget range. We’ll take measurements of your bathroom and evaluate any structural or plumbing constraints. With this information, our team can develop a preliminary plan and rough estimate. This is a collaborative stage – we want to capture your vision accurately and make sure we have a realistic path to achieve it.

02. Design & Permitting

Next, we create the detailed design for your bathroom remodel. We’ll present you with a proposed layout, which might include relocating fixtures if it improves functionality. Using our expertise in bathroom design, we ensure the plan optimizes space and meets building codes. We’ll also guide you through selecting materials and finishes, such as tiles, vanity style, fixtures, paint colors, and accessories, ensuring everything works together aesthetically. Once the design and materials are finalized, we handle all required permits. This involves preparing any necessary drawings or documents and submitting them to your city/county building department. We make sure to address plumbing and electrical plans in the permit process as well, so inspections will go smoothly later. We’ll also schedule the project timeline and coordinate ordering of products so that everything is ready for the build phase.

03. Demolition & Rough-In

With permits approved, we start work on site by carefully demolishing the old bathroom. We remove old fixtures (toilet, sink, tub/shower), cabinetry, wall finishes, and floor tiles as needed. Our crew takes precautions to protect the rest of your home – laying down floor coverings from the entry to the bathroom and setting up dust barriers. After demolition, we inspect the exposed structure for any hidden issues (like water damage or rot) and address those if found. Now it’s time for the rough-in phase: we frame any new structures (for example, a half-wall for a shower or a niche), and our plumbers and electricians reroute or install new plumbing pipes and electrical wiring according to the new design. This could include moving the shower drain, adding new supply lines for a double vanity, upgrading wiring for new light fixtures and outlets, and installing exhaust fan ducts. We coordinate required inspections at this stage (for plumbing and electrical rough-in) before we close up walls.

04. Construction & Installation

Once the infrastructure is ready, we proceed to rebuild your bathroom with all the new elements. We put up new drywall or cement board on the walls and ceiling, using moisture-resistant materials in wet areas. Next, our tile specialists get to work – waterproofing the shower area (liners, liquid waterproof membranes, etc.) and then meticulously installing your chosen tiles on the shower walls, floors, and any other areas. Meanwhile, other team members install the flooring (if it’s tile, done by the tilers; if it’s another material like vinyl, we handle that accordingly). We set the new bathtub or shower base in place (if applicable) and install the shower doors or enclosures. The new vanity and cabinetry are assembled and secured, and the beautiful countertop and sinks are installed and sealed. We hook up the plumbing fixtures: toilets, faucets, shower valves, showerheads, ensuring everything is tightly connected and leak-free. Our electricians mount the new light fixtures, exhaust fan, and any outlets (such as GFCI outlets required in bathrooms). We pay attention to detail with every installation, from aligning tiles perfectly to caulking along edges for a clean finish. After major installs, we perform another round of any necessary inspections (like a final building inspection) for compliance.

05. Finishing Touches & Walkthrough

In the final phase, we add the finishing touches that complete your bathroom. We install mirrors, towel bars, toilet paper holders, and any decorative hardware. If you requested special features like grab bars or custom shelving, those are mounted securely at this time. We apply paint to any areas of walls or ceiling that need painting, using moisture-resistant bathroom paint for longevity. Once all work is done, the entire bathroom is cleaned thoroughly – we polish the new fixtures, remove any stray grout or paint splatters, and make sure the space is spotless and ready to use. Now comes the exciting part: the final walkthrough with you. We go through the remodeled bathroom together, explaining how to care for certain materials (for instance, how to seal stone countertops or maintain tile grout) and making sure every detail meets your approval. We encourage you to inspect and test everything – flush the toilet, run the shower, open drawers – so you can be confident in the quality. Any adjustment or touch-up you need, we handle immediately. We don’t consider the project finished until you are delighted with your new bathroom. After that, it’s time for you to enjoy the improved comfort and beauty of your upgraded space!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a bathroom remodel take to complete?
Icon

Typically, a full bathroom remodel can be finished in around 3 to 6 weeks of construction time for an average bathroom. Smaller cosmetic updates might be done in 2 weeks, while a large master bathroom overhaul or complex changes could take 6 to 8 weeks. This timeline includes demolition, plumbing/electrical work, tile setting, fixture installation, and finishing touches. (It doesn’t include the initial design and material selection phase, which can vary.) We will provide a projected schedule for your specific project. Our team works efficiently, but we also never rush important steps like waterproofing or tile curing times – quality comes first. We know you’re eager to use your new bathroom, so we strive to stick to the timeline we give you.

What if this is my only bathroom?
Icon

Remodeling an only bathroom in a home can be challenging, but we’ll help you plan for it. If you don’t have another bathroom to use during the renovation, you will temporarily be without a shower/tub and possibly a toilet at certain phases of the work. Some homeowners decide to stay with friends or family for the short period when the toilet is uninstalled (usually just a few days). In some cases, we can arrange to install a temporary toilet setup or try to keep the existing toilet operational as long as possible until its replacement is ready. We can also try to break the project into phases (for example, make sure a toilet is re-installed each night except when flooring is being done). Communication is key – we’ll discuss the schedule so you know exactly when the bathroom will be out of service. We aim to minimize the downtime, but if this is your only bathroom, you should be prepared with a backup plan for bathing and using the restroom for at least part of the remodel duration.

Can you convert my tub into a walk-in shower?
Icon

Absolutely. Tub-to-shower conversions are a common request and a great way to modernize a bathroom, especially if you rarely use the bathtub. We can remove your existing tub and replace it with a spacious walk-in shower. This involves reworking the drain and water lines for a shower configuration, building appropriate shower framing, and waterproofing the area thoroughly. We typically install a low-curb or curbless shower base, add backer board on the walls, and then finish with the tile of your choice. We can also include features like a built-in bench, shampoo niche, grab bars, and a glass enclosure or door. The result will be a sleek, safe, and accessible shower that likely makes your bathroom feel larger too. If you’re concerned about losing a bathtub (for resale value or personal preference), remember that as long as you have another tub in the home, converting one to a shower is usually fine. Many homeowners prefer a luxurious walk-in shower, and we’ll design it to be a showpiece of your new bathroom.

How do you keep the rest of my home clean during a bathroom renovation?
Icon

We understand that remodeling can be messy, so we take steps to minimize dust and debris. Our team will cover the pathway to the bathroom with protective materials to prevent tracking dirt. We put up plastic sheeting or other barriers to confine dust to the work area as much as possible. During demolition and construction, we use practices like running a HEPA-filter air scrubber or a fan in a window to ventilate dust. We also make sure to clean up at the end of each day – sweeping or vacuuming any debris. When cutting tiles or wood, we often do it outside to keep dust out of the house. Additionally, we protect your fixtures and furniture in adjacent rooms if needed. The bottom line: we treat your home with respect. While some noise and dust are inevitable, we do everything feasible to keep your home livable throughout the project. And of course, after the renovation, we conduct a thorough cleaning of the work area so you’re left with nothing but a sparkling new bathroom.
